pray, dream, believe

I love quotes. Especially ones that are inspiring or make me laugh. This one below is a favorite of the week:‎
"God is eagerly waiting for the chance to answer your prayers and fulfill your dreams, just as he always has. But he can't if you don't pray, and he can't if you don't dream. In short, he can't if you don't believe.” ― Jeffrey R. Holland
I was sick a couple weeks ago and it was really frustrating not being able to do things I wanted to do. I wanted to go to work (secretly loved not going, but at the same time, I hate missing work and getting behind). I wanted to work out with friends and go running. I wanted to hang out with my friends. I wanted to be able to taste my food. I wanted to sleep. I realized I couldn't really do anything about my situation besides not do all those things and just rest and get better. So, as a result I watched a lot of movies, read, bonded with Butters, worked on my portfolio, started a new blog, and lastly and most important, I was able to think a lot about and realign my goals. Sometimes I get so caught up in the routine of things I forget to remember my goals and what I need to do to accomplish them.

That's when I realized me getting sick was kind of a blessing...even though it was horrible. I was able to get organized and more focused on my dreams. I have been so much happier since. I realized things in my life that were distractions or preventing me from my goals. I realized things that I should make top priority in my life, like prayer and scripture study. I realized again the infinite amount of love our Heavenly Father has for us and how much He wants to help us be successful and become the greatest we can be. Sometimes I feel like He is just nudging me along in my life as I make prayerful decisions and act on them. I don't really know exactly where I'm being nudged, but I know it'll be great!

Even with this minor illness I had, I felt His love and knew He was watching over me and blessed me to see the good in things in the situation. I am so excited for the rest of my life and the future and everything that will happen. It is though prayer and dreaming and believing that one can and will fulfill their dreams and get answers to their prayers.

Anyway, who am I to talk so much about dreams and not end this with a Walt Disney Quote:
