Well, it's been awhile since I've updated this blog with anything about my life. I've been super busy working--still personal training--so that's been good for me. I am planning on working there at least through june, then going on some vacations--Minneapolis to visit Stacy and company, possibly Chicago, New York, and LA to visit friends. I kind of decided just to clump all the vacations together! I am also seriously considering joining some kind of tour group and going away somewhere random. We'll see, it hasn't gone farther than a thought yet!
I am also training for my 3rd triathlon that will take place June 5th. I'm excited because I feel like I am in a little bit better shape than last year and now have more experience. I would love to place in the top 3 for my age group...we'll see! My self-esteem has been going up drastically with tri-training because I am blowing all the old men outta the water, literally! Well, ok, not literally, but in swim practice I am in the speedy lane with 5 other middle aged men, and little old me is the leader of the group. Feels good! haha, but they all are older and not as conditioned as me, so it's understandable, but nonetheless, it feels great! ;-) I've gotten a lot faster on the bike and more comfortable on it too (after a series of flat tires, etc)! Running is a challenge right now unfortunately. My goal was to run up mission peak without stopping--which I was able to do 3 or 4 times before my knee started bugging. So I am trying to take it easy in hopes it'll be okay by race day since running is usually where I get ahead in the race.
I am looking for jobs in design around San Fransisco, LA, and a little in New York. I realized I am kind of a California girl, but I would move to the east coast for a good opportunity and to try something new. I've just started looking for work more seriously, so I am hoping to find something! Wish me luck!
Anyway, this is kind of boring! hahaha...sooooo, here's some pictures of recent events! Starting with most recent...
Night out in the City with my longtime friend Joe. Always a good time. We started out in an art exhibit featuring John Lennon photographs which was cool AND there was dancing--mostly to oldies with some random people. My favorite.
GIANTS GAME...I always see them play the Diamondbacks, which are also called the D-BACKS...I always think of D-BAGS when I read their jerseys...oh well! Anyway, it was a fun night!
