ALL A'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo! So, all my hard work paid off! I got all A's this quarter! I don't know how I managed it! It was my goal when I started school to get straight A's (I've NEVER done it before and though it would be cool...mostly b/c I felt like my mission helped me learn how to study better and be a harder and more devoted worker.) Anyway, after the first week of school I thought that might be a far fetched goal with the amount of work for each class required and also me working a part time job on top of this...I'm kind of in shock right now! yaaaaaay!

i need projects...

...so it's been one day off of school and i'm already wondering what to do with my time. i feel so useless when i don't have any pressing matters to attend to! i mean i have work still so that's good, but i come home and where i'd usually spend hours on homework, i have nothing. yesterday the power went out so i went on an adventure with my mom and dad and jimmy since there wasn't much left to do in a dark house. it was fun. then today i went to club sport pleasanton where i had a personal training seminar. that gym is heavenly. then i got home and i made jimmy workout. i had some new moves i wanted to test out on him. then i had a brilliant idea...of another project to keep me busy during break...

Project #1: Clean and organize my room. Throw out useless crap. Give clothes I don't wear anymore to the Young Women. *really imporant. I've been putting this off for awhile now and my room looks like a disaster.

Project #2: Sew some clothes..haven't decided what exactly yet. In one of my classes we had to design a line of clothing and find fabric swatches, etc. and now i totally want all the clothes that i made. Maybe I can make one skirt...we'll see.

Project #3: Super excited about....hmmm....maybe I won't reveal it quite yet. That is to be announced ;-) Hopefully it'll be done or started by the end of break.

P.S. breaking news...mom learned how to text AND how to read texts. so exciting! We were sitting around at the dinner table sunday and out of the blue she asks, "What does LOL mean???" hahaha...she had this confused and complexed look on her face like she had been contemplating it a lot lately. So after laughing for 10 years, Jimmy and I told her. She's so funny.

one year ago...

...i was released from my mission! Crazy how fast time goes! It feels like a year sometimes as I think about all that has happened since then, but the memories I have of my mission are so vivid, it feels like just yesterday! So crazy. Anyway, I have been reminicing about my mission a lot lately and I really miss it! I miss my mission buddies, the experiences, the studying, the complete devotion to missionary work (not having to worry about your own crap! ;-)), the temple, everything really...*sigh* i can't wait to be a senior missionary someday. =)

"...whatever hour you think it is, it's one more!!!!"

I love living at home. Seriously. What other roommate would barge into your room at the wee hours of the morning yelling this? My mom. =) I really am grateful to be living at home. Not only to save money, but it is really nice to come home to family. I like seeing my parents everyday. I like asking them for advice on random things. I like that my mom can help me with my sewing projects and that my dad can help me with my taxes. I like that Jimmy will go on my shopping adventures with me. Like yesterday. I came home from work and was itching to get a new pair of jeans. It's about time for that. I asked Jimmy if he wanted to go to the mall with me, he said yes and got ready. We headed out the door. Now, it's finals week and I have a few projects due that I should've been working on instead. I also had associated errands to do. Little did Jimmy know...first he sat through 45 minutes of me trying on running shoes....then we both had fun at H&M....then another 20-30 minutes at Norstrom (unsuccessfully found jeans...boo =(...)...then to the Fabric Store....30ish minutes...then to Kinkos...luckily only about 15. With travel time included, we didn't get home close to 9pm! What a trooper...luckily he found a sweet suit that was on sale! ;-)

Anyway, I am grateful to have an awesome family. The end.

P.S. I am also grateful for Butters who provides lot of great entertainment everyday!

March 22 I love you

I'm soooo excited for this day to come! I don't know if I want time to speed up or slow down though! I have soooo much to do before then! That's the last day of this quarter, then I get a glorious 2 1/2 week break. oh I'm so excited for that! I've been going, going, going for 8 weeks straight now. I love school and I love work, but I also love and miss my social life....and my bed! I have so many plans that I'm brewing up in my head, but really, who knows if I'll actually do all or any of them! Always how it is. Oh well, I know I'll at least catch up on sleep! Anywho! I need to go to sleep right now actually...6am work tomorrow! My brain won't turn off though, I hate that! Well, here's a cool video I found....goes along with 500 Days of Summer (real good movie!)

outstanding employee!

Yep, that's ME! Employee of the month. Pretty exciting stuff. I got this aweseome pin which I will always wear and 25 club bucks which will go to good use in the cafe as I tend to set up camp at work so I end up having to bring like 3 meals! I also got a "parking pass" I can put in my car and I can park anywhere I want. Employees are supposed to park in the farthest away spots...one rule I very, very seldom apply to me. hehe...oh well! employee of the month!
